Gina Cook graduated with a First Class BSc (Hons) in Veterinary Physiotherapy and is an IRVAP, AHPR Registered Veterinary Physiotherapist. She is also a qualified canine hydrotherapist, allowing her to combine land-based rehabilitation with hydrotherapy to provide comprehensive treatment for a wide range of canine and equine patients. Passionate about improving animal welfare through rehabilitation, Gina enjoys working with both companion and performance animals. Her clinical interests include musculoskeletal rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, sports medicine, senior patient mobility and exercise prescription. She works closely with veterinary surgeons and owners to create individual rehabilitation programmes that help animals regain comfort, confidence and function. Committed to evidence-based practice, Gina regularly undertakes continuing professional development to ensure she provides the highest standard of care. She is a Canine Arthritis Management Professional Member and Ambassador and has completed additional training in areas including laser therapy and therapeutic ultrasound. Outside of clinical practice, Gina enjoys canicross with her cockerpoo, Martha. Competing and training together has given her a practical appreciation of canine fitness, conditioning and injury prevention, which complements her work supporting active and sporting dogs in practice.
