I am a Veterinary Physiotherapist based in South Devon, having graduated from Harper Adams University in 2019. I work with a wide range of animals, with a particular interest in the management of arthritis in both dogs and horses.
I grew up in the South Hams and started riding at the age of 3, giving me 27 years of experience with horses in a wide range of disciplines. My family has also had dogs since before I can remember and I now have the absolute pleasure of being the guardian of a rescue staffie cross.
During my training, I completed 5 months at a specialist canine rehab centre in West London and 5 months at a rescue horse yard. After graduating, an opening came up at my practice for an in-house Veterinary Physiotherapist and I jumped at the opportunity to join their team! I use a wide range of evidence-based techniques, including Class 4 laser therapy, to support mobility, comfort, and overall quality of life.
I cover South Devon including but not limited to Kingsbridge, Totnes, Modbury, Dartmouth, Paignton, Torquay, Plymouth and surrounding areas. I offer sessions at the practice but also offer a mobile service for dogs if desired and to yards to treat horses or farm animals.
You do not need to be a registered client at Selworthy Vets in order to book a session. If you are registered with another practice, I simply require a referral form from your own vet prior to treatment.
