Horses have been a constant part of my life long before physiotherapy became my profession. Growing up riding, backing and working with them shaped how I understand movement, soundness, and welfare, and continues to influence the way I assess and treat each individual. Becoming a veterinary physiotherapist allowed me to combine this lived experience with clinical knowledge, enabling me to look beyond symptom management and focus on why an animal moves the way it does. My work centres on supporting horses through rehabilitation, maintenance, and performance, with an emphasis on restoring function, comfort, and long-term soundness. My approach is evidence-based, horse-centred, and always guided by welfare. I work closely with veterinarians, paraprofessionals, and owners to develop tailored treatment and rehabilitation programmes that reflect both clinical findings and the individual needs of each horse. I am a fully qualified and insured Master’s-qualified veterinary physiotherapist and a member of the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapy, committed to ongoing professional development and best clinical practice.
