Our members have worked hard to gain recognised qualifications and adhere to a strict Code of Conduct and Conditions of Membership. We value professionalism and want our association to lead the way in raising professional standards in Veterinary Physiotherapy and animal welfare. There is a rigorous application process, including a minimum qualification of BSc (Hons), which means that vets and the public can be assured that our members are able to offer the professional care expected of a veterinary physiotherapist. New applicants automatically become Cat 2 members, which means they have continuing support and guidance from more experienced members. Once further criteria has been met members become Cat 1 status.
