Should horses be part of sport and leisure at all? More of the public is asking that question each year. Recent UK research found that 63.8 per cent of UK adults are not content with the status quo.
Join NAVP President Lorna Brokenshire-Dyke for a one-hour CPD session on the social licence to operate in the equine world. Lorna practises as both a vet and a veterinary physiotherapist. She will look at what the latest research tells us about public trust and how governing bodies in the UK and internationally are responding. She will also explore why the work our members do matters more than ever.
The session draws on current evidence about unrecognised pain in ridden horses and the move towards a good life for every horse. It ends with practical reflections you can take straight into your own caseload.
