Membership Information

Full UK Membership is available to practicing Veterinary Physiotherapists based in the UK who hold a recognised qualification at Level 6 (BSc Hons) or above in Veterinary Physiotherapy. Members must be actively engaged in clinical practice and meet the professional standards set by NAVP.

Application Requirements:

Proof of appropriate professional insurance with a minimum cover of £4 million.
New graduates must provide a copy of their qualification certificate.
Practitioners with 2+ years of experience must submit their qualification certificate along with evidence of 25 hours of CPD completed within the last 12 months.

Renewal Requirements:

All renewing members must provide evidence of 25 hours of CPD annually, submitted by 1 March each year.

Membership Duration:

Membership runs annually from 1 March to the end of February.
Newly qualified members joining after 1 August are eligible for a 50% discount for the remainder of the membership year.

The price for membership is £130.00 now.

Membership expires on February 28, 2026.

The National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists require all members to have Professional Indemnity Insurance to a minimum of £4m as a condition of membership. Please upload a copy of your indemnity certificate below.

You agree that Continued Professional Development (CPD) of 25 hours over 12 months (or 50 hours over 24 months for renewals) is a condition of NAVP membership, and you can produce a CPD record with the relevant documentation, if you are selected for a random audit.
