Nicky is the Association's Communications officer and plays a vital part in the day to day running of the Association as all inter-association communications are channelled through her. She also directs external enquiries to the Association member best suited to answer, and ensures that NAVP electronic data are protected under the Data Protection Act.

Nicky lived in France for many years and is fluent in French. She has also competed in horse trials to international standard and is seen here competing at Saumur

Prior to becoming a Veterinary Physiotherapist, Nicky was a senior equine veterinary nurse and has worked with many of the UK's top Veterinary Surgeons. She was also the surgical nurse to Dr. Olivier Geffroy, the leading French Orthopaedic surgeon where she had responsibility for the surgical department in a predominantly racehorse region of France.

Nicky holds a post-graduate certificate in Animal Physiotherapy and also has qualifications in Advanced Equine Anatomy, Equine Biomechanics, Gait Abnormalities and Applied Anatomy
