Conditions
of Membership of NAVP.
-
Payment of Membership fees must be made to the Treasurer by March
1st of each year. Full and Graduate Members will be sent invoices
and reminders.
-
Payment of fees entitles Full and Graduate members to have their
name on the NAVP website on the practitioner/member page and access
to the Members only page.
-
Full and Graduate members will receive a free copy of the newsletter.
Full and Graduate members may use the NAVP logo (see Conditions
of use of logo below).

CPD is a requirement of Membership. Currently 30 hours over 24months
is the required number of CPD points. Full and Graduate Members
will be advised of any changes to the required number of points.
CPD opportunities will be forwarded to members as and when they
arise.

Full and Graduate members must carry Insurance and copies of their
insurance certificates must be submitted to the Secretary by march
1st of each year. Minimum indemnity must be £2,000,000.

All Members including student members must adhere to the Code
of Conduct.

Copies of the Constitution, Code of Conduct, Disciplinary procedures
and logo can be obtained from the Secretary. All new Graduate
members will be sent a copy of each in their welcome pack.

Full members are entitled to attend the yearly AGM and have voting
rights. Graduate members will be entitled to voting rights after
their 12 month mentoring period is complete.

Full and Graduate members must attend at least one AGM in three.
Use
of the NAVP logo.
- Full
and Graduate Members may use the trademarked NAVP logo (the graphic
+ the initials NAVP) on their professional stationery only in
the colours in which it is registered.
-
Full and Graduate Members may use the graphic and the full wording
‘National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists’
on their professional stationery in the colours we trademarked.
- Use
of the logo, the initials NAVP or the title National Association
of Veterinary Physiotherapists in any capacity other than on professional
stationery must have the approval of the Executive.
- Full
and Gradaute Members are not allowed to permit or grant consent
to anyone else to use the NAVP logo.
Changes
