Lorna Macnee

Lorna qualified as a Veterinary nurse in 2000 whilst working in Surrey. Since then she has gained experience in many practices across the UK, working as a locum nurse, including referral centres such as The Animal Health Trust in Newmarket.

Lorna took employment at New Era Veterinary Hospital in Jersey in 2002. This progressive hospital provided space for the Physiotherapy department to open after she had qualified with NAVP in 2004.
Within her Continuing Professional Development Lorna has completed a skill based course in Equine Spinal Manipulation at Hartbury College, Gloucester in 2006.

Lorna moved to Guernsey at the end of 2008 with her partner, Gus. She continues to have a strong interest in canine physiotherapy, particularly in the prevention of joint disease and neurological conditions. She is currently studying to be an Acupressure Practitioner with the Tallgrass Institute in Colorado. Lorna is also involved with lecturing on the NAVP PgD/MSc at Harper Adams University College.
