Jo Hodges

Jo is a legend in the Veterinary Physiotherapy sector being one of the trailblazers starting to work in this field.   Amongst her considerable achievements she was course manager and tutor of the Equine Physiology and Development Unit at Warwickshire College for over 10 years.  

After that she renovated an old equine swimming pool giving her vast experience of hydrotherapy for horses and greyhounds and the use of heart rate monitors with static swimming. She was also the resident rehabilitation and fitness therapist for horses and riders at Milton Keynes Eventing Centre.

Now retired, Jo is still keen to pass on her vast knowledge to NAVP members and students and she is a lecturer on the NAVP MSc course. Students will be able to benefit from her awe-inspiring knowledge of Remedial Exercise Prescription for Horses and Greyhounds.

Some of Jo's qualifications are Cert. Ed., LCSP (Phys)., LSSM(Dip)., BHSI(SM)., LSCP (Cert Sports Therapy). AMC Letol (Teaching on line certificate), and a tutor for the British Sports Council
