Dr Gail Williams BA(Hons) V.Phys PhD MNAVP

Gail is the NAVP Director of Education and works closely with Harper Adams University College to deliver the Association's MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy. She lectures on the biomechanics of musculo-skeletal tissues and is also one of the Senior NAVP physios providing the clinical education of students.

Gail has a First Class honours degree in Animal Science and a PhD in Equine Biomechanics from Bristol Veterinary School. Gail is a self-employed Vet. Physio., and works with many leading vets in the Midlands area. Gail specialises in treating horses, particularly event and dressage horses. As Gail's hobby is training and working Gundogs, she has also built up a specialist Gundog physiotherapy practice.

Gail's major interest is in performance development with competition horses to devise specialist biomechanically based programmes to increase athletic performance and resilience to injury.
